The sea, sky, and TSI

At five o’clock in the morning every day, the engineers aren’t the only ones up and about inside the power plant. An unlikely bunch kept them company amid the impressive steel and concrete structures. You would have to pay close attention to notice them because despite being frequent visitors, these winged creatures were often overlooked. The visitors weren’t angels — they were birds.

Lessons from a career woMOM

All too often, we approach the question of career or family as black and white: either you work full-time or you become a stay-at-home mom. AP Gen’s CFO, Racquel Bustamante, however, chose to break this traditional divide.

Curiously as we observed in our brief, he did it less forcefully then what many had expected considering that federalism, along with the drug war and anti-corruption drive, had been an oft-repeated subject of his lengthy monologues.

Book Notes: “The Art of the Long View” (Part 2) by Carlos Aboitiz

The process of building scenarios starts with looking for driving forces; the forces that influence the outcome of events. Whenever I look for driving forces I first run through a familiar litany of categories: Society, Technology, Economics, Politics, and Environment.
