Established in 1966 by Don Ramon Aboitiz, the acknowledged patriarch of the family who founded the Aboitiz Group, the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI) was created initially to support various groups that needed financial assistance and to advance the quality of education in the country. Today, RAFI is a non-stock, non-profit organization that is involved in both charitable endeavors and participatory development programs.
