Davao Light, Aboitiz Foundation help give a brighter home for Davao’s youth

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. and the Aboitiz Foundation rewired the Children’s Village of Davao City, also known as Bahay Pag-asa, which is a rehabilitation center for the youth in conflict with the law.

Bahay Pag-asa is managed by the Davao City Social Services and Development Office (CSSDO). The rewiring project was provided to help review and asses the wires and electrical connection as well as help improve the lighting conditions of the rehab facilities.

A ceremonial switch-on took place last August 14, 2017 to signify the turn over of the upgraded electrical wiring system of Bahay Pag-asa led by Davao Light Community Relations Manager Fermin Edillon, Social Services Committee of Davao City Council Councilor Victorio U. Advincula, Jr. and CSSDO Head Maria Lusia T. Bermudo.
