JC Guiang | March 14, 2019

PERA HUB has welcomed two new sub-agents to its network. With a new strategic partnership agreement, RD Credit Corporation (RDCC) and PENBank, Inc. will now be able to provide Western Union remittance transactions through its 33 and 34 locations, respectively.

Both retail networks are currently making their way to the top of the financial services landscape in the Visayas and Mindanao region by offering a wide array of services.

PETNET, Inc. Sub-Agent Management Manager Richard L. Jabagat actualized the affiliation after working closely on the partnership proposal. It puts PERA HUB on track to achieving its goal of extending services to the unbanked and underserved Filipinos.

This mutually beneficial partnership enables us to extend our services to Filipinos in areas where there are gaps in financial services. It supports our purpose which is advancing business and communities.

– Ian Ocampo, President and CEO, PETNET

RDCC started operations in 1991, then known as RD Lending Investor, Inc., and was mainly engaged in short- and medium-term loan solutions. Today, the enterprise has expanded its cash remittance services through RDeRemit, enabling customers to send and receive money at any of their branches.

PENBank, Inc. is a private development bank previously known as Rural Bank of Tupi founded in 1981. For 35 years, PENBank has steadily grown its businesses from banking and lending services to remittance, bills payment, atm deposit & withdrawal, and even payroll services.

PERA HUB currently has the largest Western Union agent location network in the country.
